# HyperLiquid Points

Points are intended to reward users who contribute to the protocol's success. <mark style="color:red;">We believe that the ultimate goal of this program is to airdrop a token to those who helped them bootstrap the network.</mark>

HyperQuant will receive points based on the activities performed on the network. In the event of a token airdrop from HyperLiquid, HyperQuant will distribute 100% of the token to the HQ stakers, following two main criteria: the amount of tokens staked and the time the tokens were staked on HyperQuant.
